Our approach is simple… we meet with our clients in their space to gain a true understanding of how they live and what they love. We discuss everything from where they like to drink their coffee in the morning to how often their mother-in-law visits to assess their needs in the space.
Punch list design items are discussed, and then a design agreement that is tailored to the client's specific needs is presented. A design bank of hourly time is collected before the project commences.
Every client is different: some clients want full scope, turn-key design, and others just need a little help selecting paint colors. No matter how, we are happy to help.

My mother was an interior designer who graduated from High Point University’s Interior Design program, which is where I got my intro to the industry. I studied interior design at East Carolina University. My 20 years of experience in the industry ranges from serving everyday families with a la carte interior design items to turn-key luxury residential projects. Let’s just say that I understand champagne taste, just as well as I understand a beer budget. I believe everyone deserves to live in a beautiful, stylish, comfortable home!
As an entrepreneur, mother, and wife, I completely understand how hard it is for families to prioritize their interior needs. I pride myself in being flexible and accommodating because I find it truly rewarding to serve up my artistic talents to their delight.

Design is in my blood.
North Carolina born and raised around traditional southern hospitality, I was bred to be a generous hostess. With my culture, upbringing, and education, I decided to set my sights on travel to see where it would lead me. After several years of working for major cruise liners as a “Port Shopping Expert” helping guest source fabulous finds in the ports of call, I found myself docked in Fort Lauderdale and knew I was home.
I settled here and became the design director for a national furniture retailer. From there, I moved on up to freelance designing with personal clients and then had the pleasure of managing multi-line showrooms at The Design Center of The Americas, DCOTA.
This was incredible for my career, as I worked closely with the top interior designers in Florida on their amazing high-end projects for 12 years. When my daughter Kai was born, I returned to entrepreneurialism and started building two businesses: Styled Up, and Rodan+ Fields premium skincare.
I also founded a group for other women in the area to soundboard off each other and network, called Fort Lauderdale Female Entrepreneurs. I just love life and I wake up excited to go to work every day. For that, I feel VERY blessed. Throughout my career, I have learned that most families would never entertain the idea of an interior designer, as they assume that it is out of their budget or are intimidated by the idea. If that is you, then come to Mamma! My passion and mission is to help you. No project is too large or too small for Styled UP.

Elle’s industry experience includes retail design consultation management, representation of 50+ trade only resources, managing the Florida territory for multiple showrooms in the DCOTA, and working with her personal interior design clients for upwards of 20 years.

Melissa Kaiserian
Melissa first began her relationship with Styled UP as a client. After completing several projects together, she was offered the position of Accounts Manager and has become a true asset and team player. She supports purchasing, customer service, and the needs of all vendor and client accounts.

Our Mother and Interior Designer boasting upwards of 30 years of experience. Maribeth specializes in renovation, and custom drapery and bedding design.

Robert Palmer Watkins
An artist in every sense of the word. When Rob isn’t acting/filming or producing original music, his passion project is to collaborate in the family design projects and sound board on all creative decisions.
